Given that I only just started thinking this through, I don't really have much of a backstory yet. However, I'm told that Ghas' character has reined his engineering tendencies in, so that's the route I'm taking. So. Tech/Engineer specialist, with some (but not as much) computing (because I imagine that in a society as high-tech as this one, there'll be computers in most technical stuff). Also a shotgun, if they're going (although I'm not quite sure why right now). Um. Not a big tough guy, more the wiry type that can get into the little access holes and stuff to get at the fiddly bits (the hard-to-get-to parts are always the ones that break the most!). A pretty quick thinker, too. Probably late twenties, and been doing this stuff all his life - born to make things keep working (at the risk of sounding like Kaylee, which he certainly isn't). How's that?
Oh, and blue coveralls. With grease and solder stains, and the odd burn mark, and stuff like that. Working coveralls, y'know? Not that that has much bearing on the character sheet, but nevertheless. And a toolbelt covered with all sorts of arcane future-tech engineering tools (and the ones that never go out of style, too, like hammers and screwdrivers and whatnot of course).
